TRAINING IN CAD/CAM SOFTWARE FOR FURNITURE DESIGN
10:30 - 13:30
Training in the TopSolid furniture design programme
We would like to invite you to a free training course on the TopSolid furniture design programme, edition Kitchens and Wardrobes.
During Furnitech 2025, we will present the basics of furniture design in a CAD environment. Participants will be able to get to grips with the programme's interface, build a simple piece of furniture, as well as generate technical documentation and programmes for CNC machines.
Training sessions will start daily at 10:30 am and will last a maximum of three hours. Due to the limited number of computer stations, pre-registration is required.
Registration form - forms.gle
TopSolid edition Kitchens and Cabinets is the ‘younger brother’ of the TopSolid Wood programme, valued in the furniture industry and dedicated to the design and production of furniture. This edition has been designed for small and medium-sized enterprises mainly engaged in the production of kitchen furniture and built-in cabinets. The programme is distinguished by its ease of use and a very low entry threshold - just one day of learning is enough to learn the basics and start working.
We would like to encourage you to broaden your knowledge of CAD/CAM TopSolid design in the Kitchens and Cabinets edition.
See you at the trainings!

MATERIALISATION: new technologies, new materials - the future of design for furniture and component manufacturers
The “Materialisation” panel, organised as part of Furnitech by the SPFP Design Association, is primarily aimed at furniture manufacturers and exhibitors of furniture components.
In the dynamically changing world of industry, new technologies and innovative materials are becoming the key to competitive advantage. During the panel, we will explore how the conscious use of these resources influences the design and production process. We will focus on respect for the raw material, the synergy between material and technology (including incremental technologies, smart materials, eco-friendly solutions) and the concept of “material truth”. We will consider how material and technology become the inspiration and starting point for innovative solutions. We will emphasise the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in fully exploiting the potential of new materials (e.g. composites, biomaterials, recycled materials) and technologies, including transforming their specific properties into unique product advantages. We will pay special attention to the issue of waste - its minimisation, reuse and effective management in companies, in the context of current EU directives and the concept of the closed loop economy. We will touch upon the evolution of thinking about materialisation and dematerialisation in the context of circular design.
In addition, at the SPFP Design Association stand (Hall E 4.23), you will have the opportunity to see the designs and implementations of our designer speakers in another of the SPFP PIN IT exhibition series - this time under the title ‘MATERIALIZATION’.
