Industry conferences at FURNITECH EXPO 2026 and FURNITURE CONTRACT EXPO 2026 – practical knowledge on regulations and the future of supply chains
As part of FURNITECH EXPO 2026 and FURNITURE CONTRACT EXPO 2026 (26–28 May 2026, Nadarzyn near Warsaw, Ptak Warsaw Expo), specialised conference panels will be held under the patronage of KD Media / Kurier Drzewny. The event will bring together experts who will provide a practical overview of the key regulatory challenges facing the wood and furniture industry, with particular emphasis on new European Union requirements.
The conference programme focuses on current and upcoming regulations such as EUDR, DPP and PPWR, as well as on concrete tools and solutions that enable their effective implementation in companies.

“How to meet the requirements of EUDR, DPP and PPWR? Case study – the TimberID platform as an effective tool”
Speaker: Swapan Chaudhuri
An experienced international manager who has spent over 20 years developing businesses in the Central and Eastern Europe region at companies such as Xerox, Kodak and Videojet Technologies (Danaher Group), will present a practical approach to implementing new regulations based on technology.
The central element of the presentation will be the TimberID platform, an innovative solution for tracking the origin of wood raw materials in supply chains. Participants will learn how digital data collection at the “First Mile,” geolocation and physical wood marking make it possible to build transparent, regulation-compliant processes. The lecture will show how modern technologies support companies in meeting EUDR requirements and strengthening operational credibility.

“Are European Union regulations really a problem for the furniture industry?”
Speaker: Michał Rzeźnik
A project expert and lead auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and PEFC/FSC certification systems will present a practical perspective on implementing EU regulations in manufacturing and commercial enterprises.
The presentation will discuss real challenges and opportunities arising from implementing regulations aimed at preventing deforestation and forest degradation. Drawing on his experience with global supply chains in the wood and food sectors, the speaker will outline specific actions and best practices for aligning organisations with European Commission requirements.
